Log In

Use your existing SLIP credentials to access SLIP+. Need help? Use the Forgot Username or Password link. Insurer filers can now register for an account on the login screen by clicking the Register Now link.

Home Screen

Enjoy a refreshed look with the Compliance Checkup dashboard always visible. Announcements and updates are now displayed prominently. SLIP Chat is conveniently located in the bottom-right corner.

Navigation

The menu is now organized into Filings, Compliance, Reports, and Invoices & Payments. Use the ? icon for help and the Settings section for user preferences.

Enhanced Search

Search for policies, renewals, and endorsements by advanced criteria options. Use the Manage TIQs screen to search, sort, and view TIQs with enhanced search and sorting capabilities.

General

 

What is SLIP+?

SLIP+ is the next generation version of SLIP, FSLSO’s premier surplus lines filing platform. It offers the same streamlined, user-friendly experience to surplus lines filers with new, enhanced features.

When will SLIP+ be released?
SLIP+ is scheduled to launch in October 2024.
Will I still be able to file with SLIP once SLIP+ is launched?
Yes, during the initial transition period, you will be able to use both SLIP and SLIP+ concurrently.
What are the key differences between SLIP and SLIP+?

While the workflow for both platforms is inherently similar, there are a few noticeable differences. Please see the Help tab in SLIP for a complete list of changes.

Is data shared between both systems?

Yes, data is synchronized between both systems. Changes in one system will be reflected in the other.

Registration

 

If I have a SLIP account, do I need to register for a SLIP+ account?
No, all existing FSLSO SLIP accounts (agents, IPC, corporate/agency, insurers) will be migrated to SLIP+. You will not need to register for a SLIP+ account. 
I’m a new agent. How do I register for a SLIP account?
Newly licensed agents that do not have a SLIP account will need to register for an account in SLIP+. Registration in the legacy SLIP system is no longer available.
I’m a non-admitted insurer who recently began writing business in Florida. How do I obtain a SLIP account?
Florida eligible or federally authorized non-admitted insurers can now register for a SLIP+ account by clicking the “Register” button on the login page.
 Filing

 

I’m a batch filer. Do I have to make any changes for the SLIP+ release?
No, batch filers do not need to make any changes to begin filing in SLIP+.
Will I still be able to file in SLIP (Legacy) once SLIP+ is released?
Yes, SLIP (Legacy) will be available for filings, reports, etc. for a short time to allow customers to become familiar with SLIP+.
 Payments

 

Can I pay my quarterly invoices in SLIP+?
Yes, quarterly tax and service fee invoices will be available for viewing and payment in SLIP+.
Will my banking account information in SLIP (Legacy) be transferred into SLIP+?
Yes, all stored bank account information will be transferred into SLIP+. Customers will not have to re-enter banking information that was previously saved in SLIP (Legacy).
 Settings

 

Why don’t I see all my billing contacts in SLIP+?
Billing Contact is now renamed to Accounting Contact. Additionally, SLIP+ only allows users to enter a single Accounting Contact per surplus lines agent. The Accounting Contact will be contacted for any invoice or billing related questions. All SLIP+ users will have access to invoicing and payment information on the Invoices page.

We understand change can be challenging.
